David and his crew on quite a few residential projects,
both new construction and addition/remodelling types.
Each of the projects have been a pleasurable experience.
He has always been very easy to collaborate with in the
interest of providing the homeowner with a finished residence
that exemplifies quality craftsmanship.
When Lynn and I decided to design and build a new home,
we decided that we wanted David Munn Custom Builder to
do our project.
From the very beginning, David was very thorough with
his preparation of the projected cost spreadsheet, breaking
the cost down by trade categories. During the construction
process, we commented to David that he was an excellent
taskmaster. That is, he was very diligent about keeping
the project moving forward by keeping all of the suppliers
and the various subcontractors apprised of the project's
construction timetable and anticipated completion date.
Lynn and I are VERY pleased with our new home! It was
completed within the timeframe that David had projected;
the construction costs came in very near what was initially
projected (there were a few "owner initiated" choices/adjustments
along the way!); and, David and his entire crew were very
sensitive to providing a quality, finished home for Lynn
and I. They were a pleasure to work with! |

Hiring David Munn Custom Builder was one of the wisest
and best decisions I made for my 2004-2005 home remodel
project. From the first meeting I knew he was the person
to help transform my home. David's craftsmanship combined
with the architect's design really transformed the home
I grew up in from a tired cottage to a beautiful lake
home. He was able to maintain the character of the old
cottage but incorporate fresh simplicity to create a new
comfortable look. From the beginning he was very conscientious
of my wants and needs; he would not hesitate to offer
ideas that improved or enhanced original ideas. I could
depend on David for an honest opinion yet knew I was in
the driver's seat to make final decisions.
Although I have to admit my heart started pounding when
I first saw the total cost of the project, the breakdown
of each line item helped me put everything in perspective.
There were no "hidden budget surprises" from David in
the middle or at the end of renovations. I had a very
thorough and realistic budget presented to me from the
start. I am sure my home remodel project was small in
scale compared to many of the projects that David has
undertaken but he and his crew did not make me feel that
my project was any less significant.
I will always be grateful to my family, Eric Jones (Architect),
and David Munn (Contractor) for helping me accomplish
a life-time dream. I enjoyed the journey because of these
people and have an exquisite home as a result. |

seamless project. Being that our family lives three hours
away from the building site on Lake Templene, we did not
have the convenience of visiting often. This was an initial
concern, but David and his crew handled all aspects of
the project and quickly eliminated any fears. The quality
and workmanship is second to none. David is hands on and
